Stray Phrases is a sick hip hop/jazz group consisting of Storm Siegel on drums, Dave Mainella on keys, and Evan Crane on an upright bass. If you're in the New York area, the Paste strongly recommends a live viewing. Their seamless rendition of J Dilla's entire Donuts album is more than on point. Don't believe me?
